Descripcion: Tercer album en estudio de Heroes del Silencio, despues del exito de "Senderos de Traicion", HdS deciden alejarse un poco del sonido de este para irse un poco mas para el lado del hard rock, haciendolo de forma satisfactoria, dejando asi un tremendo album con un sonido diferente pero aun asi bastante bueno.
Este album tuvo varios videoclips, entre estos "Flor de Loto", "Los Placeres de la Pobreza", "La Sirena Varada", "La Herida" y "Nuestros Nombres".
English Description: Heroes del Silencio's third album, after their successful album "Senderos de Traicion" they decided to get away from that album's style and start going hard rock, doing it successfully, leaving us with a great album, a little bit different to "Senderos" but good nonetheless.

Héroes del Silencio - Avalancha

Descripcion: Este fue el ultimo disco en estudio que sacaron los HdS antes de la separacion, un discazo en mi opinion que a pesar de que en esos momentos habian problemas internos en la banda, el resultado de las sesiones de grabacion fueron buenos y con bastante potencia en muchas canciones, muy dificil pensar que poco tiempo despues de este album se separarian.
De este album se extraen tambien canciones altamente importantes de la discografia de HdS, los singles/videoclips de este album fueron "La Chispa Adecuada", "Avalancha"e "Iberia Sumergida".
La cancion "Avalancha" aparecio en el juego "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock".
English description: This was Héroes del Silencio's last studio album before they splitted, a great album in my opinion, even tough they were facing internal band problems this album was an outstanding one, a lot of energy was shown in several tracks, who would have tought they will split up soon.

Cuchillazo - Dias Negros

Descripcion: Segundo album LP de Cuchillazo, en este album tienen un sonido mas agresivo que el disco anterior, sin llegar a ser dificil de escuchar, de este album se desprende la cancion mas conocida de la banda "Maquina", esta cancion dio fama nacional a la banda gracias a que fue la cancion de apertura de la teleserie llamada "Misterio", la cual fue muy popular dentro del pais.

Descripcion: Ahora es el turno de la banda de Aggro (o tambien llamado Nu Metal) Natura, este es el primer album de la banda si no me equivoco, fue un album corto de 9 tracks, bastantes buenos si te gusta este estilo musical (no es lo mio, pero me gusta este album).
El tema "Wei-ken" tuvo videoclip y "Resiste" sono algo en la radio local.
English Description: Natural is an Aggro (also called Nu Metal) band, this was their first album, which was a kind of short one featuring 9 tracks only, a nice listen if you like this kind of stuff (not my favorite genre at all, but I like this album).

Leusemia - A la Mierda lo Demás

Descripcion: Despues del exito del primer album, Daniel F al ver hacia donde apuntaban los otros miembros de la banda, decide abandonar Leusemia, despues de unos pocos conciertos sin el, Leusemia se separa.
10 Años despues 3 de los ex-miembros de la banda (Daniel F, Kimba Vilis y Raul Montañez) asisten a un pequeño concierto donde los convencen para tocar ya que estaban los 3 ahi, agarran sus instrumentos y la magia vuelve a renacer, al poco tiempo grabando nuevo material el cual seria este legendario album, la mision de este album es quitarse de encima la imagen de punks que se les habia dado desde hace mucho.
El sonido de este album es tambien un rock simple, con vocalizaciones mejores logradas, algunos temas del disco anterior son re-grabados en este album tambien.
El album contiene como bonus tracks un concierto de esa epoca.
English Description: After the first album's success, Daniel F decides to quit the band after seeing the direction that some other members wanted for the band, after he quit Leusemia disbanded after a few concerts.
Ten years later, three of the ex-members (Daniel F, Kimba Vilis and Raul Montañez) meet in a concert and start to talk to each other, then after getting convinced by the people who went to that concert, they decide to play together again, and later they start recording a new album.
This album's sound is a simplistic rock, better vocalizations and playing than the previous album, and some tracks of the previous album are re-recorded in this one.
This albums includes a concert from that era as bonus tracks.

Leusemia - Leusemia

Descripcion: Leusemia es probablemente la banda mas importante del rock peruano, no solo por su calidad musical sino tambien por los tantos años de vigencia, la banda se formo por alla en el '83 cuando la mayoria de bandas aun solo tocaban covers y en ingles, siendo Leusemia una de esas pocas bandas que se atrevian a tocar canciones propias y en español, en esas epocas se volvieron famosos dentro de la movida musical catalogada como "subterranea" por toda la energia que soltaban en vivo, llegando la fama de la banda a resonar tanto que una disquera importante de la epoca llamada "El Virrey" decide grabarles un disco, sin mucho (mejor dicho ni uno solo) esfuerzo por promocionar el disco, se venden las 5 mil copias rapidamente (lo cual para la epoca era un gran numero) consagrandose como la banda mas popular del momento sin un poco de apoyo de los medios y solo compras de fanaticos que iban a los conciertos.
El estilo de este album es un rock bastante simple y no muy pulido, y tambien por las vestimentas que usaban, fueron catalogados como punks.
English Description: Leusemia is arguably the most important peruvian rock band, not only because of their music quality but also because they've been formed since '83, in those years local bands usually just played covers and/or in english, Leusemia on the other hand was one of the few bands that played their own songs and in spanish, they became pretty famous fastly inside the called "underground" movement thanks not only because of what has been previously said, but also because they were very energetic on stage.
They got so famous in the rock scene that an important record label called "El Virrey" decides to make an album for them, without even trying to promote the album, it sells fastly the 5000 copies that were made surprising not only the label but some newspaper that usually criticized them too.
Their style in this album was a very simplistic rock and roll, their style and looks gained them being labeled as punks in those years.

Daniel F - Memorias Desde Vesania

Descripcion: El conocido vocalista y lider de Leusemia, Daniel F, ya habia sacado bastantes albums en formato cassette como solista desde la separacion de Leusemia alla por el '86, estos albums se caracterizaban por ser bastante distintos a la Leusemia de esas epocas, tocando musica acustica y algo romantica, pero aun asi buena musica.
En el 2001 sacaria este album, el cual seria su primer trabajo como solista en formato CD, un album muy agradable, tranquilo y sentimental, tirado para la trova, el cual incluye una version diferente (y excelente) de "Memorias" (originalmente sacada en un album de Leusemia), un cover de Fernando Ubiergo y uno de Rafo Raez, y tambien una version en vivo de "Nunca Enkontraré A Alguien Ke Se Parezca A Tí" cancion de su primer album de solista "Kursiles Romanzas" (si no me equivoco), en fin un gran album.
English Description: Daniel F (Leusemia's singer and front man) had been releasing solo albums since '86 when Leusemia disbanded in that year, those albums were very different to what he used to do with Leusemia those years, his solo albums featured acoustic music and romantic stuff, but good music nonetheless.

Turbopótamos - Turbopótamos

Descripcion: Los Turbopótamos es una de las bandas mas populares hoy por hoy en el Perú, se caracterizaron en este disco por su estilo llamado Skabilly (mezcla de Ska y Rockabilly), un disco con bastante energia y muy agradable, las letras no son de lo mejor, pero la musica es muy buena.
Tuvieron video clips para las canciones "El Metro" y "Ultra Beba".

Descripcion: Los Fuckin Sombreros es otra banda que se desprende de la separacion de G3 (solo que mucho mas tarde), la propuesta de esta banda es ser una banda de Rock and roll, claro que en este album tienen toques de punk rock y un poquito de pop (en la cancion "Dulce T.V.").
Sacaron video del single "Sorprendido".

Descripcion: Despues de la separacion de G3, Gonzalo Farfan y Gabriel Bellido (ex-miembros de G3) arman esta banda de punk rock y este es su primer album, el cual si bien no tiene toda la agresividad de G3, aun demuestra la misma energia y el talento musical, este album tuvo dos videoclips de sus canciones "Bombardero" y "Orbital".

Gaia - Solar de Sara

Descripcion: Album debut de esta banda conocida dentro del Peru llamada Gaia, un muy buen disco de rock donde se caracterizan algunas de las canciones por tener percusion con "ritmo" sin llegar a parecer musica bailable, el video de la cancion "La Nueva" llego a sonar en MTV y tener puestos decentes en los rankings, y otra caracteristica de la banda es sonar bastaaante bien en vivo (tuve la dicha de verlos una vez en epocas de este disco), disco recomendadisimo.
English Description: Debut album by this known band in Peru called Gaia, a great rock album with some "rhythm" percussions in some songs (but it doesn't sound like danceable music anyway), their video clip from their single "La Nueva" had decent airplay in Latin MTV getting a good response from the public and the rankings, a highly recommended album.

Arcana - Trágalo

Descripcion: Album debut de la banda Arcana (el anterior fue un demo) en el cual se notan bastante las influencias de Nirvana de esa epoca, dandoles una etiqueta de banda grunge que ellos detestaron siempre, buen album en general, y la version no acustica de "Irreal" aparece en el siguiente disco "Virgen".
Los pilares de esta banda han sido Markko Cruz (guitarra y voz) y Micky Bane (bajo), habiendo cambiado de baterista casi en cada album, hasta la separacion que fue este año (si no me equivoco).
English Description: Debut album from this band (they had released a demo previously) in which you could notice Nirvana's musical influence on them, gaining the label of being a grunge band (a label that they hated), a nice album overall, the non-acoustic version of "Irreal" appears on their next album "Virgen".
This band has almost changed drummer in every album, being Markko Cruz (guitar and vocals) and Micky Bane (Bass) the constant members in this band, this band got dissolved some months ago.

Rafo Raez y Los Paranoias - Camisa

Descripcion: Rafo Raez ya habia sacado albums de solista desde 1994, con musicos de soporte de la talla de Daniel F y Lucho Sanguinetti (quienes despues dejan de tocar con el y se meten de lleno a Leusemia), alla por el año 1999 da conciertos con quienes serian los futuros "Paranoias" tocando temas de los 3 primeros discos de Rafo, despues de tanto tiempo ya era cuestion de tiempo que graben como banda, y este album es el producto de ello, un muy buen album de rock con algunos temas algo mas ligeros pero para nada malos, uno de mis albums favoritos.
English Description: Rafo Raez has been releasing albums as a solo artist from 1994, with support musicias like Daniel F and Lucho Sanguinetti (who later left him to get focused mainly on Leusemia), in 1999 he starts to play live with the guys whom later would be releasing this album with him, they player Rafo Raez's songs from their first three albums, it was a steady lineup and was a matter of time until they recorded an album as a band, and this is the first album they made together, a great rock album in my opinion.

Descripcion: Este es el disco debut de esta buena banda llamada Cuchillazo, un rock no muy agresivo, pero sin llegar a ser pop, muy digerible y bueno a mi parecer, esta banda se hizo mas famosa al aparecer su tema "maquina" (de su siguiente album) en una serie llamada "misterio" si no me equivoco.

Descripcion: Segundo disco doble que saco Leusemia, vino en una clase de caja de edicion limitada, bastante bonita con un libro grande con cancionero, entrevista y un escrito del F bastante entretenido, este album tiene algunas de las canciones mas largas de la banda y para muchos es el mejor album de esta, el album trae remakes de canciones de albums antiguos como "Al Colegio No Voy Mas" y "La Karacola Subterranea" del "A la Mierda lo demas".

Leusemia - Hospicios

Descripcion: Este es el disco mas reciente que saco Leusemia, el concepto del disco es muy interesante el cual consiste en que todo el disco es una sola cancion, dividida en 19 tracks, por ende es altamente recomendable que se escuche "de corrido" osea sin pausas ni saltearse tracks.
Daniel F describe a este disco como el mejor de la banda hasta el momento.
Este album agoto sus ventas al 3er dia de haber salido, siendo 8000 copias del primer tiraje, lo cual en Peru es una gran cifra, mas aun sin haber tenido mucho (o mejor dicho nada) apoyo de los medios radiales y televisivos.
English Description: This is the latest release by Leusemia, the album concept is a very interesting one, which is that the entire album is a single song, divided in 19 tracks, because of that is highly recommended to listen to it without making pauses or skipping tracks.
Daniel F (Leusemia's front man) states that this album is the band's best so far.
This album sold out at the third day of it's release (8000 copies, which is a lot in Peru for a rock band), consolidating the band's popularity, since the album did not have too much support (or not at all) from the media.
